What makes this program special?
There are couple of things that make this program special. The first, is the relationships you create with the rest of the 24 students from different nationalities and backgrounds, that makes it is very special. The second, is the flexibility of the program and the quality of the lectures and lecturers in the different sessions, which gives a real experience and knowledge from every aspect in the sports marketing field.
Why did you choose this program?
I was working in the marketing department of Valencia Basket, a EuroCup team at the time. I was seeking for a program that could help me improve my skills and increase my professional network.
Would you recommend this master’s program and why?
I would recommend the program to the professionals that want to expand their sports marketing knowledge from one of the top sports organizations in Europe, the Euroleague Basketball. It also gives you the opportunity to take a very close look at the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four and to create future relationships and connections that could help you in your career.
It was great in Istanbul! We were all in the same hotel and we shared many moments together. All around top basketball. It wasn’t my first Final Four, but it was a special one!
Tell us about your highlights in the program?
I would highlight three moments. The first one was the first session week at Euroleague Basketball Headquarters. The second was at the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, in Istanbul, with all my colleagues. The final moment that I would highlight was the final work presentation in the last session.
Which 3 words would describe your experience with the master’s program best?
Progression, Professional and Friendship.
Who supported and motivated you the most on your journey?
I was the person who pushed me the most through this journey. My family supported me and helped me very much during my studies. I have also to mention Valencia Basket, that allowed me to take the master.
Which transfer of knowledge caught your complete attention?
Euroleague Basketball as a company, the workers, their functions and mentality.
Tell us about the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four?
It was great in Istanbul! We were all in the same hotel and we shared many moments together. All around top basketball. It wasn’t my first Final Four, but it was a special one!
Tell us about the Alumni Network – are you doing business with any Alumni?
I have been in contact with some alumni. Since the period I was working in marketing at Valencia’s Basket marketing department and now as a coach at Montakit Fuenlabrada. We keep the connection and the contact.
Tell us about the job you were in before studying the master’s program, and the job you have now after you finished the course?
I had the same job before and after the program. Later, I decided to be a professional coach, something that I knew I was going to do.
